Camp Saint Sophrony and Camp Saint Bega are growing so fast we need your help!
We need all sorts of help! Anything from; accounting, web design, database administration, poster design, accounts, finances, finding sponsors, sourcing donations, marketing, advertising, merchandise, and much much more!

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, Camp Saint Sophrony and Camp Saint Bega will take place this summer. Both Camps are part of the archdiocese’s youth ministries.
The purpose of these camps is to bring children from across the archdiocese together for a fun-filled week of outdoor activity in an Orthodox Christian setting and to help them grow in confidence and in the Faith and meet lifelong friends.
Camp Saint Sophrony Would you like to volunteer as a staff leader?
Location: Heatree Activity Centre in the stunningly beautiful Dartmoor National Park in the South West of England. Activities at the camp include visits to the beach, kayaking, campfires, raft building and more.
Date: For children – Saturday 25th July to Friday 31st July 2026
Adults are expected to arrive on Friday 24th July where possible except those leading the coach travel.
How you can help: The camp needs fun, energetic and enthusiastic leaders to inspire the children and help them to develop and grow in their Faith. Camp Saint Bega Would you like to volunteer as a staff leader?
Location: Rock UK Whitaugh Park in the North East of England.
Date: For children – Monday 3rd – Friday 7th August 2026
Adults are expected to arrive on the day before where possible except those leading the coach travel.
